Refund Policy

Our return policy offers you a 30-day window to request a return following the receipt of your item.

For your return to be valid, the item must remain in the condition in which it was received, unused and with all tags attached, in its original packaging. Please keep the receipt or provide proof of purchase.

You can initiate a return by emailing us at online@maihansupermarket.com. Remember to ship the returns to this address: 403 Colombo Street, Sydenham, Christchurch 8023.

After accepting your return request, we'll provide you with a return shipping label and detailed instructions on packaging and sending your item. We won't be able to accept items returned to us without a prior return request.

Damages and issues
 

In case of any defects, damages, or incorrect items in your order, please reach out to us immediately upon receipt so we can rectify the issue.

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items


Please note that some items are not eligible for return, such as perishable goods, custom-made products, and personal care items. Similarly, hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases cannot be returned. Reach out to us if you're uncertain about the return eligibility of a particular item.


We regret to inform you that sale items and gift cards are not returnable.

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

For exchanges, the quickest method is to return your current item. Once we accept the return, you can make a separate purchase for the new item.

 

Refunds

Once your returned item is received and inspected, we'll keep you updated about whether your refund is approved. If it is, expect an automatic refund via your initial payment method within 10 business days. Keep in mind that processing times may vary with different banks and credit card companies, so the posting of your refund might take some additional time. Should more than 15 business days pass since your return approval without a refund, please get in touch with us at sales@maihansupermarket.com.
